Captain Tanner Nichols is a native of Northwest Florida. He’s had sand in his shoes and a pole in his hand all his life. Tanner says that he can never remember a time that he wasn’t fishing for fun or fishing for a living. Captain Tanner began fishing in the local rivers, bays and in the Gulf of Mexico with his dad from the time he was old enough to reel in a fish. Before he began charter fishing, Tanner traveled with the University of South Alabama’s Bass Fishing Team to compete in collegiate tournaments. He’s familiar with the local waters and enjoys all kinds of fishing.
Tanner loves the Gulf Coast and he has years of experience fishing the waters of Pensacola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. He takes a lot of pride in sharing his knowledge of the Gulf Coast fishery with his customers.Tanner is a family oriented person and enjoys fishing with people of all ages.
Before owning his own boat, Tanner worked as a deck hand on one of the busiest multi-passenger boats in the Pensacola fleet. He has been fortunate to do all kinds of fishing, including tournament fishing for Marlin and King Mackerel, bottom fishing, off-shore trips for tuna and inshore fishing for red fish, trout, snapper, flounder and sheepshead.
