Captain Andy Arnold grew up in Louisiana where he spent most of his youth freshwater fishing with his hero, his grandfather. They bass fished in lakes and rivers throughout Northern Louisiana and Southern Arkansas. He graduated with a degree in Marketing and fell in love with saltwater fishing in Southern Louisiana. A friend invited him to go trout and red fishing in the South Louisiana marsh and he was hooked! Captain Andy spent the next two years chasing trout and redfish all over Buras and Port Sulpher, LA. He’s had a passion for salt water fishing ever since.
In 1994, Captain Andy Arnold transferred to Pensacola where he fell in love with the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Bay. He spent every spare moment learning about fishing in the Pensacola area. Captain Andy’s fishing experience has grown over the past 20 years to include inshore fishing for trout, flounder, and red fish and off shore fishing for red snapper, grouper, trigger, amberjack, king mackerel, wahoo, mahi mahi and tuna.
Captain Andy has formed many close relationships with other fishermen in the area to gain knowledge and experience. He cares greatly about our beautiful natural resources and is on the Pensacola Hatchery Technical Committee.
